Black Mountain Vase
This vase was made with Black Mountain clay, a stunning but fickle Cone 10 clay. It was fired In a gas kiln and as dark clay famously tends to do, it bloated and bubbled in places, most notably on the foot as seen in the fourth photo. Thankfully, these beautiful imperfections don’t impact the vase's functionality but for those reasons, it is considered a “second.”
Important things:
Firing: Gas, Cone 10
Dishwasher: Yep!
Size: 4” x 4” x 5”
